If You Need Medications...
If possible, please call us during office hours to have your prescriptions refilled.
As soon as your physician has an opportunity to review your medical record, our
staff will call your pharmacist with your refill request. During evening hours or on
weekends, it is difficult for the "on call" physician to determine if a prescription refill
is indicated, as he is without access to your medical record. Call 804.320.2705.
If You Have an Emergency...
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 911. In the event of an urgent situation
during evening hours or on weekends, please call our answering service at 804.965.7930
or our office number at 804.320.2705. Your message will be forwarded to the "on call"
surgeon who will make every effort to respond to your emergency needs promptly. Surgical
Associates also maintains a second back-up surgeon who can be reached when needed by
the "on call" surgeon for multiple emergencies.
